BLACK HORSE MASH is used as a complement to normal concentrated feed or as a substitute for a part of the concentrated feed (grain, industrial feed). Let it expand in warm water (no boiling needed). Mixing proportion: 1 litre MASH and at least 1.5–2 litres of water, let the mixture expand for appr. 15 minutes, mix well and give as lukewarm mush or as a runny mixture.
Normal amount as a feed complement: horses 0.5 kg/day, ponies (depending on size) appr. half of the amount given to horses.
If given as the sole concentrated feed: horses appr. 2 kg/day, ponies (depending on the size) appr. half of the amount given to horses. Make sure that the horse gets supplementary minerals and vitamins in this case. A salt lick should also be kept available for the horse.
Weight per litre appr. 500 g.
